I have tears in my eyes just reading that! You MUST get those tapes put onto disk, but don't get rid of the tapes themselves! Keep them safe, too! And if you have any old radio programmes in there, make sure to save them - many of the originals have not been kept and they are quite literally priceless. I remember shows like Round the Horne and Billy Cotton's Band Show. Thanks for bringing back the memories! Oh, my goodness! I have tears in my eyes just reading that!
