Hello Vicky and welcome to the other blog - its not all about our greyhound as you can see!!

Hi Barbara - Since I wrote this that little plant has gone mad! There are shoots coming off at all angles - maybe there's hope after all!! you must have very green fingers if a third of that beautiful garden has been grown from small beginnings like this!!

I don't know how other blogs work at all really - I usually answer comments on my blog or use the email address that comes with the comment report, its all a learning curve isn't it???

Always worth having a try. Probably a third of my garden began as cuttings.

Congrats. on winning the teddy bear.
Glad you liked the Constable post.

I realise now that I have to go into my comment section to get back to you as you do not have a direct link coming in with your comments on my E-mails.

Thanks Val - I hope so too but I have failed before - either over or underwatering - no happy medium - thats me!!

Baino - if this takes off I'll post you some - then you can grow your own too!!!

Cortes - Its a good feeling at the moment but I think I'll wait and see if its a real success - then I'll probably quit while I'm ahead!

Daddy P - I'm glad somebody else is afflicted - I've never understood it - houseplants come here as lovely present and within weeks they are dead and heading for the bin!

Jay - So... I can come to you for advice then when it all goes wrong!!!! It was well wrapped with no soil attached - maybe I should start smuggling!

Wow - yes, that's definitely growing! Succulents are fairly easy, so even I can propagate those!

You were lucky not to get caught bringing that home. The penalties for smuggling plant matter into the UK are severe. LOL!

Wonderful when things happen the way they are intended. Good job. Now try something else, and soon you will be renowned as a local green thumb!
