K8 – its amazing stuff – I don’t know if they are the same I’ll just stick with the one I’ve got. ….. got my post-op appointment tomorrow so I’ll wait and see what the consultant says!

Isn’t Bio Oil the bee’s knees? I was worried about putting it on new scars until I read this. It’s a toss-up between Bio Oil and Vitamin E. They’re surely the same thing though, aren’t they? I don’t want to get sued.

Coastal Aussie- Thank you so much for your good wishes – I will pass them on. Exciting is right – but it seems to be calming down a bit now, thank goodness!

Sistertex – Thank you so much for asking – I spoke to Sharon last Friday and although she’s a bit breathless ( it hurts to breathe) and feels like she has been run over by a truck – she is at home with her family and that is the place to get well I think!!

Grannymar – Welcome! I tried everything but I think the worst was the clingfilm – still I had quite a laugh. You’re right – it makes us use the other hand … I’m getting ambidextrous!

Glad the surgery went well. That sleeve is a great idea. When I broke my right wrist, I used a large black bin liner and parcel tape. Once in the shower I held my arm in the air. I am sure I looked a sight, but who cares needs must and I live alone. Left hand mouse skills improved 100%!

Thanks Jay – I’ll have another look – though I did try there before.

Its only for when I’m taking her out – you know how small my car is with little or no boot and people do get so close – I thought it might make them keep back a little – well, hoped really.
